Barrington No 1

Barrington Tops is a plateau area about 80km to the north of Newcastle, Australia. It features subalpine forest, beech forest and sphagnum moss bogs. Unfortunately there are also large areas of scotch broom, an introduced plant. The plateau edges descend steeply into rainforest with a number of waterfalls.
